Pluck your brows with tweezers - This is how you do it!

Plocka dina bryn med pincett - Såhär gör du!

Many people have neither the time nor the finances to go to a salon regularly to shape and pluck their brows. When it's time, instead, you stand in front of the mirror with the tweezers in full swing, and it's not difficult to lose the concept of how you want your brows to look. What might be a small refresh quickly turns into manic plucking where you pluck hair by hair. Below we list 4 tips for the best way to pluck your brows yourself with tweezers!

1. Use good tweezers!

To ensure that it goes as easily, smoothly and painlessly as possible, the quality of your tweezers is very important. An eyebrow tweezer should have an oblique shape and be really sharp. This will facilitate the whole process enormously and avoid you breaking off the strands halfway or damaging the hair follicle. Using eyebrow scissors for refreshing is also a good idea. Our brow tweezers Brow Tweezers meet all the requirements of a really good tweezer. With an ergonomic grip and extra thin cutting blades, it gives you the best conditions for effective hair removal. (Psst, we also have a lifetime warranty on this product...)

2. Use your eyebrow pencil!

After you have first thoroughly cleaned the area around your eyebrows, it may actually be a good idea to take out your eyebrow pencil or other product that you use to create your desired shape on your brows. All the hairs that end up outside of your styling are the hairs that you can now gently start to remove.

3. The right technique!

Make sure the tip of your tweezers is always along the root of your hair and use your other hand to keep the skin around your eyebrow taut. This minimizes the risk of not getting the entire strand of hair, pinching the skin and reducing unpleasant pain. Dabbing warm water on the area you are going to pluck using, for example, a cotton pad can also make everything easier as the warm water makes sure to open up your hair follicles, or why not use it after the shower?

4. Take a step back from the mirror!

While plucking your brows, you like to stand as close to the mirror as possible, but to ensure that you get your brows in the desired shape, it is a good idea to take a step back from the mirror in the meantime. Seeing your brows from a little distance will give you a clearer picture when it's time to put the tweezers away.

It doesn't actually have to be more difficult than this. As with everything else, practice makes perfect and you find the way that suits you best. Have you never plucked your brows before?
