No, to get rid of eyebrow dye you have to do the exact opposite of what you would normally do to keep your color as long as possible. Below, we have collected our 4 best tips on how you can save mistakes when coloring your brows at home.
1. Wash your face.
When you have dyed your brows, it is important to avoid water around that area during the first day, as it takes 24 hours for the hair follicles to close. If, on the other hand, you are dissatisfied with your color, water is a perfect way to tone down the eyebrow color. Shower or wash your face properly with a face wash and warm water and you will notice that the color will tone down and your brows will return faster.
2. Scrub your brows.
Scrubbing your brows is another way to easily and quickly remove unwanted brow color. Feel free to use a scrub adapted to your face to avoid unnecessary wear and tear on the sensitive skin around your brows. Scrubbing your brows is also good for hair growth (similar to a scalp massage!), so take the opportunity to kill two birds with one stone.
3. Do not moisturize.
To make your brow color last longer, we recommend that you carefully moisturize with a serum, vaseline or face cream. However, if you do not want the color to last long, it is a good idea to skip this. Something you absolutely should not do to remove your brow color faster is to wash your brows with strong agents such as acetone. This only dries out and ruins your skin.
