Something that is always just as exciting about entering a new year is seeing which beauty trends are growing the strongest - and brow trends are no exception! From strongly marked to fluffy and more natural brows, the last few years have really offered a wide variety. Read through our list of what's on the in list and what's on the out list in 2024.
IN'S
Thin brows
A trend that many probably regret having picked up during the 90s and early 2000s were so-called "skinny brows". They frantically plucked hairs from their brows, leaving only thin lines that they marked with a brow pencil. Over 20 years later, the thin brow trend is hotter than ever again - maybe even here to stay this time. However, here comes a wonderful news - this time we don't have to pluck our brows completely, but it is actually possible to create the illusion of thin brows anyway. Use a brow pencil from the center of your brows, then use a flush brush and brow gel through your brows to create a narrow and defined look. If you do choose to use the tweezers, try to do so sparingly. Many women can surely confirm that it is not worth plucking too many hairs from our brows - because who knows how long this trend will last this time!
"Soft Brows"
Soft, fluffy and easily styled brows are high on our inside list for 2024! We say goodbye to the tightly filled brows and instead welcome a softer and kinder brow look. With light strokes with a brow pencil, such as our Brow Twist or Marking Brow Pen , followed by a softer Brow Setter variant that doesn't lick the brows onto the skin, and you'll fix this look in no time. Straight brows
"Emily in Paris" is one of Netflix's most popular series and the main character is played by Lily Collins. So what does this have to do with brow trends? Well, Lilly Collins is known for her straight brow shape. This track we will become a brow shape that more and more people adopt in 2024. If you do not have a naturally straight brow shape, there are little tricks you can use to create the illusion of straight brows. Use an eyebrow pencil to fill in your arch from below. Then try to extend the lower part of your brows until it meets the part of your brows that starts to point down. Our Brow Twist is an excellent choice for this, as it with its triangular tip makes all application both smooth and fast.
DIY brows
Brow trends in all glory, but something that we see becoming more and more popular in 2024 is well-groomed and healthy brows. When the pandemic broke out, many people said goodbye to the heavily made-up look, and the marked brows that had been popular for a long time, to instead invest in a more natural and less time-consuming look. Skin care grew stronger, and more people became more careful with which ingredients they use both on their skin and in their hair - well-being and beauty now go hand in hand. Big brows
When the Brow Lift trend was introduced, it quickly became trendy with large, extreme brows that stood straight up. 2024 is the year when we eliminate the large, extreme "brow lift" brows - but that does not mean that the Brow Lift effect will disappear completely, but now we invest in Brow Lift with slanted brows.
The beauty of a Brow Lift treatment with us is that you yourself get to decide how you want your brows to lie - and in the vast majority of cases our customers already want them slanted and not straight up.
Licked brows
The trend with licked brows, also often referred to as "soap brows" swept in during 2022 and continued strongly in 2023, but in 2024 we think the trend will subside (a comeback in the summer, however, we see as possible!).
This doesn't mean you need to put away your Brow Lift Soap , use it instead with a little lighter pressure to reduce the licked effect without having to put your finger on the fix, or try our Clear Brow Gel which fixes the brows without licking them.
"Carved out brows"
A clear layer of concealer around the brows to frame them with absolutely perfect lines is something that has been very trendy in the past. But as the natural and soft brows take up more and more space in 2024, we see that so-called "carved out brows" are becoming less trendy.
Waxing
Well-being brows are essential to achieving the perfect brows, which is why waxing is on our to-do list. Waxing can damage both the thin skin around the eyes, but also the hair follicles. 2024 is the year when we once and for all connect beauty with well-being, therefore we say goodbye to methods that do us no good. Instead, we recommend threading as the primary hair removal method for the brows (but also for the rest of the face).
